Sardo Numspa was born on Corellia. The Numspas were a long line of noble lawmen and lawwomen and in keeping with family tradition Sardo joined CorSec at the age of sixteen. He graduated with the highest honors and made a name for himself working some of the nastiest beats in the core worlds. Sardo worked his way through the ranks quickly. On his 21st birthday he was promoted from his position as an undercover officer to Special Agent. His new position put his extensive experience dealing with organized crime to good use.
When the Empire took power much of CorSec was slowly replaced with Palpatine’s bootlicks. Those who didn’t walk away peacefully were retired. Sardo took his skills, reputation, and family money and struck out on his own. He spent several years working private security aboard high end shipping freighters. Along the way he took a permanent position as head of security aboard the Crimson Nova where he met a young Leibo Trint and trained her how to be a proper solider.
The day the Nova was boarded by the Empire and her captain murdered Sardo took command in the aftermath. He spent most of the next decade trying to keep that ship out of trouble but it was clear that it had been flagged by the officer that was responsible for his friend’s death. Eventually he decided his days as a spacer were over. One night while making preparations to pass the Nova onto his XO Sardo received an email from Leibo requesting his presence at Spice Terminus for “an offer of a lifetime.”
